Carol A. Teague, 75, a resident of New Castle passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Henry County Hospital. She was born March 15, 1940 in New Castle to the late Harry and Esther (Kirby) Cashdollar.
Carol retired from Robert’s Construction in 1998 after 30 years of service. She had formerly been employed at Cashdollar’s Soft Water. A former member of First Christian church and BPW (Business & Professional Women’s Assn.), Carol enjoyed reading, writing and traveling. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband: Chuck Teague, whom she married November 2, 1958; two daughters: Brenda (Michael) Cole and Robin Teague, both of New Castle; two sons: Doug (Deborah) Teague of Tennessee and Richard (Pamela) Teague of Illinois; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters-in law: Kathryn Cashdollar of New Castle and Anita Cashdollar of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers: Deacon, Robert, Thomas, James and Albert Cashdollar; a sister: Betty Moyer and two nieces: Nancy Flynn and Laney Pike.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 9 at the funeral home.
