Carole (Kelly) Pitman, 70, of New Castle passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018. Carole retired from Chrysler Corporation in September 2003 after 33 years. She was a member of the UAW, she volunteered for many years at the Henry County Human Society and the Henry County Saddle Club. She was an animal lover and enjoyed her years on her farm in Straughn.
She was a 1966 graduate of Knightstown High School and a 1985 graduate of Ball State University.
She was born in Knightstown, Indiana on March 25, 1948 a daughter of James Nolan Kelly and Mary June Kelly.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly McCormick, (companion, George Adams); a grandson, Cody McCormick (wife, Samantha); great grandson, Anderson John; a son, Chad Pitman; a brother, Wayne F. Kelly of Murrieta, CA; her nieces, Victoria Downs (husband, Robert), Anna Pugsley, Donna Bequeaith; several other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Brian Kelly and James Michael Kelly.
Graveside services will be at 12:00 pm on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown with the Rev. Mark Herbkersman officiating. Friends may call from 11 am until time of service. Condolences and memories of Carole may be shared at www.hinsey-brown.com .
