Carolyn J. Kendall, 82, formerly of Spiceland passed away Monday, October 18, 2021 at Westminster North in Indianapolis. She was born February 2, 1939 in Shirley, Indiana, a daughter of the late Arlie and Norma (Willis) Kendall.
She had worked at Albertson’s Grocery Store in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for 8 years. Carolyn had previously worked as a secretary of a law firm in New Castle and was a manager at KFC in Eaton, Ohio. She had also done housecleaning for 40 years in Spiceland, Eaton and Oklahoma City. She was an Auxiliary member of the VFW in Sebring, Florida.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Stover of Oklahoma City, OK and J. Victor (Denise) Wall of Queen City, TX; daughter, Karolyn Yvonne Banks of Phoenix, AZ; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Kay Ann (Keith) Witham of Wilkinson and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Nathan Stover; grandson, Ricky Banks, four brothers, Phillip W. Kendall, Charles Richard Kendall, J. Stephen Kendall and Gary B. Kendall; and a sister, Marilyn Sue Kendall.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2021 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel, 7355 State Road 109, Knightstown, IN 46148 with Rev. Gene Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Circle Grove Cemetery in Spiceland. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until time of services Friday at the funeral home.
