Carolyn Walker, 75, a resident of New Castle and formerly of Pennsylvania, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Stonebrook Rehab Center in New Castle. She was born October 19, 1948 in Levittown, Pennsylvania to the late John and Pauline (Rishko) Walker.
She retired after 20 years from Philadelphia Senior Center where she worked as the housing counselor for seniors. Carolyn earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work. She enjoyed being around others and was known to be very kind hearted.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Barb (Bell) Walker; niece, Joni Walker; nephew, Joseph Bell; great nieces, Aiyanna Walker and Leilani Bell; aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends in Philadelphia, PA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, John Walker and her partner, Christopher A. Hall.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at South Mound Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. You may express condolences or share a memory of Carolyn at www.hinsey-brown.com .
