Casey Ryan McDonald, 42, of Kennard passed away unexpectedly on Friday October 22, 2021. He was born on November 10, 1978 in New Castle, a son of Howard “Butch” (Denise) McDonald of New Castle and Connie (Randy) Brown of New Castle.

Casey was a good-hearted man with a great sense of humor. He loved his family, especially his wife, Laura and his best friend, Kingston. Casey was a great “dog dad” to Kingston and both Laura and Kingston meant the world to Casey. Casey enjoyed music and was an avid NASCAR fan.

In addition to his parents, Casey is survived by his wife, Laura McDonald of Kennard; maternal grandfather, William “Bill” Drake of Knightstown; siblings, Christopher (Meredith) McDonald of Knightstown, Jason (Jennifer) McDonald of New Castle, Rachel (Tom) Turpin of New Castle, Ashley (Josh) Douglas of New Castle, Jamie Beatty of Knightstown; father and mother-in-law, John and Diana Engle of Lewisville; sisters-in-law, Jami (Chuck) Higar of Greencastle and Megan (Lou) Reed of Warner Robins, GA; nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn, Reagan “Hollywood”, Henry, Emma, Grace, Ainsley, Cashden, Austyn, Lydia and Jaley the “Nerd Bombers” and Tyler.

Casey was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Bonnie Drake; paternal grandfather and mother, Howard Oak, Jr. and Francilla McDonald; nephew, Aaron McDonald.
