Chad Conner

Chad Ryan Conner, age 27, of New Castle died unexpectedly Friday, July 3, 2009. He was born June 30, 1982 in New Castle.

Chad attended New Castle Schools and had been employed at INTAT in Rushville, and E-Coaters and Grede Foundry, both in New Castle. He had most recently worked on the family farm with his mother and stepfather, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a daughter, Makayla, who lives in Straughn; his mother and stepfather, Beth L. and Johnnie Brown of rural New Castle; his father and stepmother, Phillip J. and Susan Conner of New Castle; a sister, Krista Dubinger of New Castle; four step-sisters, Johnnie Darling (companion, Greg Herron) of New Castle, Kylie and Leah Wiggins and Hannah Chesher, all of New Castle; a step-brother, Tommy Wiggins of New Castle; two nephews, Austin and Dylan; three nieces, Meghan, Grace and Lily; his maternal grandmother, Robbie White and his paternal step-grandmother, Mary Eva Brown, both of New Castle; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James R. White, and his paternal grandparents, Dalton and Della Conner.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Mt. Summit Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2009 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Chad R. Conner Memorial Fund with envelopes available at the funeral home.
