Charlotte Elizabeth Brodnan

May 21, 1919 — May 4, 2015

Charlotte Elizabeth Brodnan, 95, of New Castle, formerly of Knightstown, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015 at The Waters of New Castle. She was born May 21, 1919 in Omaha, Nebraska to the late George and Rosemary Millard.

She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church. Charlotte enjoyed flowers, crocheting and country music.

Survivors include her children, Jean (Gary) Beatty, Judy (Mike) Mattick, Steve Brodnan, Bob Brodnan and Sharon (Greg) Asbury; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; three nieces and five nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Brodnan; son, Joe Brodnan; sister, Mildred Logan; and a brother, George Millard.

Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Deacon Russ Woodard officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anne Cemetery.
