Charlotte Ann Hosman

Charlotte Ann Hosman, 85, of Knightstown passed away Monday, December 11, 2023 at The Waters of Middletown following an extended illness. She was born on March 22, 1938 in Henry County, a daughter of the late Willard and Helen (Hiner) Baker.

Charlotte was a very active member of the Knightstown Christian Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Charlotte retired from the Indiana State Teachers Association, following 20 years of service; she was employed as an executive administrator. She enjoyed gardening and crocheting.
Charlotte is survived by her husband of 49 years, Lloyd Hosman; children, Susan (David) Gardea and Ruth (Allen) Arnold; step-children, Lisa (Eric) Montaghami, Christopher (Dana) Hosman and Timothy (Casey) Hosman; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Norman Baker, Kenneth (Rosie) Baker and Pamela (Richard) Simmons.

In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Lee Stange in 2011 and a brother, Sam Baker.

Services will be held at 6:00pm Friday, December 15, 2023 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in Knightstown with Pastor Tony Darling officiating. Burial will take place in Glen Cove Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00pm until the time of service.
