Cheryl L. Slettvet

Cheryl L. Slettvet, 61, of New Castle, passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 3, 2025 in her home. She was born February 26, 1963 in New Castle, a daughter of Ronnie Prince and Diana Sue (Clapp) Engle.

 A 1981 graduate of Tri High School, she was a loving mother, super funny, outgoing, and family oriented. She was a Christian, and she lived for her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to cook and loved animals, especially cats.

 She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Terry Slettvet of New Castle; two sons, Ronnie Whitehead of New Castle, and Zack Slettvet of New Castle, grandchildren, Cadyn Whitehead, Gavyn Whitehead, and Alexah Whitehead, Brantley Slettvet and Addison Slettvet; several nieces and nephews.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rhonda Abrams.
