Cheryl Worrell

Cheryl Worrell, age 68 of New Castle, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2012, at Glen Oaks Health Center in New Castle. She was born December 6, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Beatrice (Taylor) Lawson.

She was formerly employed as a legal secretary. Cheryl was a dedicated member of St. Anne Catholic Church; she loved to quilt and belonged to the quilting club. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include two sons, Anthony (wife, Kathleen) Davis of New Castle and Keith A. Davis of Brookville; two grandchildren, Ashley Davis and Hunter Davis; a great granddaughter, Khloe Caudill; three sisters, Linda Barber of Millville, Hazel Darbinian of CA and Margaret Robertson of AZ; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Worrell and a son, Vincent Edward Davis.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 24, 2012 at St. Anne Catholic Church with Father Joe Rautenberg officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 2- 6 p.m. Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle where there will be a Rosary Service held at 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to the Cheryl Worrell Memorial Fund, c/o Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, 3406 S.
