Chris A. Byrns, age 56, of New Castle, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. He was born October 5, 1952 in Muncie, Indiana to Willard Lee Roy and Evelyn (Dyer) Byrns.
Survivors include his mother: Evelyn Walker of New Castle; three children: Brandi Hingson of Ft. Myers, FL, David Byrns of Ellettsville, IN and Justin Byrns of Westfield, IN; two brothers: John Bauman of Holly, MI and James L. (wife: Christian) Bauman of New Castle; sister: Diane (husband: Bruce) Jones of St. Mary’s, OH; two grandsons: Cody Hingson and Matthew Hingson of Ft. Myers, FL; special friend: Kristi Garner of New Castle; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father: Willard Byrns; maternal grandparents: Irvin and Lovell Dyer.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2009 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Dick Webster officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery.
