Christopher “Bo†Clark, age 42, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010 at his residence following a battle with cancer. He was born May 19, 1967 in Muncie, Indiana.
He was self employed in construction as a carpenter and was also a great mechanic. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed driving race cars at Mt. Lawn Speedway. Bo also enjoyed fishing and deer hunting.
Survivors include three children, Amber Clark (fiance, Jack Tompkins) and Christopher Clark, both of New Castle, and their mother, Melissa (husband: Brad) McDonald of Hagerstown, and Brandon "BK" Kaelber of New Castle; his mother, Helena Clark of New Castle; two granddaughters, Alyssa Cole and MaKenzie Clark; a grandson, Ayden Tompkins; a sister, Dana Garner of New Castle; a brother, Dean (wife: Monica) Clark of New Castle; a nephew, Jared Clark of New Castle; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a very close friend, Marjory Hopkins of New Castle.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Clark; a friend and father figure, Jim Hopkins.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Rick Davis officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2010 at the funeral home.
