Christopher “Pap” K. Voris, 64, of Knightstown passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022 at his residence. He was born October 3, 1958 in New Castle to Richard and Nora (Gribbons) Voris.
Chris was a 1977 graduate of Knightstown High School. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan. Chris was a jack of all trades and master of many. He always had a good story to tell and loved the outdoors, including fishing, hunting, caring for his lawn, gardening and bird watching. He also enjoyed cooking, baking and listening to music, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and his beloved dogs, Harley and Diesel.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Joni “Gram” Voris; children, Holly Whitham of Knightstown, Chris Voris (Joey Gammon) of Cincinnati and Matt Voris (Lucy Davis) of Knightstown; grandchildren, Journie Whitham, Caleb Whitham (Rhiley Clemmons), Brendon Voris and Jazmin Lawson; great grandchildren, Jemma Lynn; his parents, Richard and Nora Voris; siblings, Victor, Pat and Angel Voris; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his beloved dog, Diesel.
