Clarence Robert "Larry" Kendall

Clarence Robert “Larry” Kendall, age 72, of New Castle, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016 at his residence following a brief illness. He was born June 2, 1943 in New Castle to the late Paul Robert and Betty (Staub) Kendall.

He graduated from Walter P. Chrysler High School in 1962. Larry retired from Borg Warner in 2006 following 30 years of service. He enjoyed working on import sports cars and was involved in the SCCA Auto Racing Club as a crew chief.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Mary Lou (Robinson) Kendall; two sons, Gary Robert (Andi) Kendall and Steven Bart (Beth) Kendall both of New Castle; a daughter, Lori (Fred) Hamlin of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Brett (Danica) Kendall, Brittany (Cory) Riggs, Tiffany Kendall all of New Castle, Shayla (Mike) Hall of Ft. Riley, KS, Aaron Kendall of New Castle and Brian Heuer, Sarah Kendall both of New Castle and Brooke Hamlin of Jacksonville, FL; seven great grandchildren; brothers, Wayne (Linda) Kendall of Winter Haven, FL, Stanley (Lee) Kendall of GA, Scottie Kendall of New Castle and Barry (Lisa) Kendall both of New Castle; brother-in-law, Paul (Patsy) Robinson of Culman, AL; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Karol and Lanius Kendall.

Services will be at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service of New Castle. Visitation will be from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service. Condolences and memories of Larry may be expressed at www.hinsey-brown.com .
