Clarice Ann Hillen

Clarice Ann Hillen, 68 of Medina, OH passed away Monday, December 13, 2010 at Henry County Hospital after an extended illness. She was born January 17, 1942 in Marion, Indiana, daughter of Harold L. and Mary E. (Broo) Reed.

She retired from Ford Motor Company in Cleveland, Ohio following 34 years of service. Clarice was a member of the UAW. She was a talented artist, she enjoyed painting and working with stainglass and was a member of the Society of Decorative Painters and Tole Painters of the Western Reserve. She loved her dogs, Emma and Oliver and was a devoted sister and friend.

Survivors include her mother, Mary E. Reed of New Castle; a daughter, June Burnsworth of Medina, OH; a son, Cole Burnsworth of Medina, OH; two grandchildren, Leif Burnsworth of MO and Amanda Burnsworth of Dallas, TX; siblings, Carol Daugherty of New Castle, Maria (husband, Wayne) Foster of Springport, Guy L. (wife, Rebecca) Reed of Reno, NV and Sheni (husband, Larry) Sizemore of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold L. Reed.

Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 17, 2010 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Paul Reeder officiating. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina, Ohio. Friends may call from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home, Friday prior to the service.
