Claudia Ann Oliver, 75, of Muncie passed away peacefully Friday morning, January 6, 2023 at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born October 19, 1947 in Jamestown, Tennessee to the late Arlie D. and Virginia R. (Fowler) Copley.
She graduated in 1965 from York Institute. Upon graduation she moved to Muncie, Indiana and married the love of her life Jack R. Oliver on October 30, 1965. Ann was a loving wife, mother, sister & friend. She was a homemaker, who enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, reading and playing bingo.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Jack; three children, David (Roxann) Oliver, Kristie (Tim) Adams and Amy (John) Kramer; four grandchildren, Nicole Franke, Steven Oliver, Jacob Hicks and Kylie (Gary) Greenlee; four great grandchildren, Devan & Austin Peters and Gabe & Michael Greenlee; sisters, Linda (Earl) Redwine, Margaret Guinn and Becky Copley; brother-in-law, Jan (Janice) Oliver; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Kathleen (Swanger) Davis, father-in-law, Charles Oliver; sister, Brenda Barker and brother, Arlie Copley.
Per Ann’s request there will be no public services. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. You may express condolences or share a memory of Ann at www.hinsey-brown.com .
