Connie F. Reasoner

Connie F. Reasoner, 95, of New Castle passed away February 3, 2017. She was born
April 29, 1921 in Comiso, Sicily to the late Joseph and Teresa (Lessina) La Bella.

Connie was a 1940 graduate of Washington Irving High School in New York City; she was employed at House of the Pearl also in New York City. After moving to New Castle, Indiana she was employed at Loveless Jewelers and The Company Store in New Castle. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in New Castle, loved reading, baking, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by a daughter, Terri (Jerry) Cox of New Castle; five grandchildren, Jon Cox, Melissa (Ronald) Heaton, Kelly-Ann Cox, Scott (Kim) Reasoner, Heather La Bella Reasoner; six great grandchildren, one great-great grandson, sister, Nancy (Charles) Deutsch of Allentown, PA; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Noah Homer “Hap” Reasoner Jr.; son, Jody Reasoner; two brothers, John and Joseph La Bella.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Father John Hall and Sister Shirley Gerth officiating. Burial will follow at St. Anne Cemetery, New Castle. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
