Dale E. Jackson

April 3, 1932 — February 8, 2015

Dale E. Jackson, 82, formerly of Knightstown, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 at North Woods Village in Kokomo. He was born April 3, 1932 in Hancock County a son of Herbert and Opal Pearl (Smith) Jackson.

Dale retired from Chrysler Corporation in 1989 after 39 years of service. He enjoyed drinking coffee at Denney’s restaurant with his friends. He also liked watching newscasts on television and working on automobiles.

He is survived by his daughter, Beverly Jackson of Jamestown, KY; two sons, Charles Jackson and Steven Jackson both of Kokomo; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Roy of Knightstown and Larry of Yorktown; one sister, Naomi of Anderson; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lois Ellen.

Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 PM until time of service. Condolences and memories of Dale may be shared at www.hinsey-brown.com .
