David Robinson Cain, M.D., age 79, passed away on September 3, 2010.
He was born in Huntington, West Virginia on December 26, 1930 to the late Clyde and Vinita Johnson Cain.
David attended Peru High School in Peru, Indiana where he played basketball and baseball. He then attended Marshall College in Huntington, West Virginia before attending Indiana University School of Medicine. He served in the United States Army from 1957-1961. After discharge from the service, he started his medical practice in Family Medicine in New Castle, Indiana. He retired in 2005. He enjoyed raising bird dogs, sailing, building and flying model airplanes, rebuilding cars and playing chess with friends and his grandchildren.
His parents, his beloved wife Eileen Longan Cain and his son, Thomas David Cain, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his daughter Susan Macias (husband, Bill) and grandsons, Benjamin, Jacob and Jason and his daughter, Linda Cain and grandchildren, Tristan and Kallen.
