David Wayne Miller

David Wayne Miller, 53, of Indianapolis and formerly of Wilkinson passed away Friday, March 7, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis following a brief illness. He was born January 18, 1961 in Greenfield, Indiana to the late Joseph W. and Mable L. (Wells) Miller.

David loved to travel and enjoyed cooking. He also loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by four children, Jessica Couch (Joseph) Rhoads, Angel Adams, Joseph Wayne Miller (Rachel Alig), and Christina (Steve Stewart) Miller; grandchildren, Morgan Cornett, Megan Swearingen, Lucas Rhoads, Tyler Adams, Nathan Knight, Noah, Christian, Ava, Star Stewart, Robert E. Stewart III, and Steven Stewart; sister, Phyllis (Randy) Abbott; a niece and nephew; special friend, Paula Mitchum; his companion and best friend, Tia.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his friend, Venus Couch.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Glen Cove Cemetery with Pastor Terry Stogsdill officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the David Wayne Miller Memorial Fund with envelopes available at the funeral home.
