David Wayne Sexton, 64, of Indianapolis passed away Monday, March 13, 2023 at his residence. He was born April 8, 1958 in New Castle the son of Harley and Nettie (Denney) Sexton.
David was a 1977 graduate of Tri High School. He married the love of his life, Barbara Deck, on May 12, 1979. He was a hard working man, enjoyed concerts and listening to Bob & Tom on Q95.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Sexton; three children, Rebecca (Billy) Brake, Harley Sexton, and James (Duenna) Sexton; six grandchildren, Ariel Cook, Jeremiah (Jenna) Sexton, Jonathan (Abby) Sexton, Angelyse Sexton, Allyandria Gifford and Zadie June Sexton; seven great grandchildren and 2 more arriving soon; aunt, Ruby Correll; special cousins, Henry and Wes Foster; sisters-in-law, Norma Griffin, Evelyn Smarz, Patty Parham, Nancy Smith and Donna Scarce.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be at 3:00 PM Monday, March 20, 2023 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Lenville Gross officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until time of service.
