David Lee Wilson

David Lee Wilson, 71, a resident of New Castle passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025 at his home. He was born December 29, 1953 in New Castle.

Dave was employed as a security guard in both Florida and Indianapolis for over 40 years. He had also owned a private investigator business in Florida. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served during the Viet Nam War. Dave was an avid golfer and enjoyed shopping on eBay. He was also a gun enthusiast and had owned several German Shepherds over the years. Dave loved his current dog, Sable.

Survivors include his mother Norella (Schwenk) Wilson, sister Leisa Price and brother James (Mary) Wilson, all of New Castle; an uncle: Art Schwenk of Columbus, IN and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy D. Wilson and maternal grandparents: Art and Beulah Schwenk.
