Debra Lynn McCutchen

Debra Lynn McCutchen, 65, of New Castle passed away peacefully Thursday, November 07, 2024 at The Waters of New Castle. She was born on February 26, 1959 in Monticello, Kentucky to the late Wilson Everett and Norma Bea (Cooper) McCutchen.

Debbie was a 1977 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School and later worked at Damar for many years. She was an avid reader and especially enjoyed the series of V. C. Andrews. Debbie also loved spending time with her family and friends and caring for her dog, Jasper.

She is survived by her life partner and wife, Debbie Imel; brother, Gary (Sue) McCutchen; nephews, Joshua McCutchen and Jonathan (Jessee) McCutchen; niece, Megan Imel; great nieces and nephews, Carson, Adalyn, Jackson and Ruby McCutchen; brother-in-law, Bill (Beverly) Imel; close friends, Claudia Tapley and Sandy Ballenger, special fur baby, Jasper and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Retha Faye McCutchen; grandparents, Carlos and Alma Cooper, W.E. and Lizzie McCutchen; brother-in-law, David Imel and close friend, Connie Pate.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Gary McCutchen officiating. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
