Dewey Max Wilson, 66, of New Castle passed away peacefully at his home Friday, September 16, 2011. He was born February 1, 1945 in New Castle, Indiana, a son of the late Silas Logan Dewey and Ruby Hester Smith Wilson.

He retired from Modernfold as a Regional Sales Executive following 30 years of service. He was an avid writer, golfer, fisherman and Harley Davidson enthusiast.

Survivors include is wife of 46 years: Julia (Coop) Wilson of New Castle; children: Kimberly Marie Wilson (husband: Tim) Estridge of Greenfield, Heather Patrice Wilson (husband: James) Kesler of Greenfield; and Clinton Drew Wilson of Nashville, Tennessee; grandchildren: Paige, John and Jacob Estridge of Greenfield, Zoe and Samuel Kesler of Greenfield; and several nieces, nephews & cousins all of whom he loved very much.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers: Erville Wilson, Ralph Gail Wilson, Gerald Duane “Joe” Wilson and Denny Wilson.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Donnie Shelley officiating. Burial will follow in Lewisville Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Special Olympics, c/o Henry County Community Foundation, P.O.
