Donald Lee Hudelson

Donald Lee Hudelson, 75, of Dunreith passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016 at his residence. He was born October 29, 1940 in New Castle, Indiana, a son of the late Charles M. and Verna Opal (Bunch) Hudelson.
Donald was a graduate of Spiceland Academy and a veteran of the US Army. He retired from Chrysler Corporation in 2001 after 36 years of service. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.
Survivors include two sons, Donald (Angela) Hudelson, Jr. of New Castle and Aaron Hudelson (partner, Sarah Craft) of New Castle; grandchildren, Ashley, Bailey, Austin, Kaiden, and Kalie; two brothers, Carl (Marge) Hudelson of Goshen, Indiana and Stan (Irene) Hudelson of St. Cloud, Florida; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (Ward) Hudelson in 2003; a sister, Margie (Hudelson) Jones.
The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and kind words during this difficult time. A very special thank you to all the staff at Southerncare Hospice especially nurses Jocelyn and Jara for the special care given.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Mark Herbkersman officiating. Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, 5250 Vogel Rd, Suite A, Evansville, IN 47715-7814. Condolences and memories of Donald may be shared at www.hinsey-brown.com .
