Donald Eugene Moore

Donald Eugene Moore, 83, of Knightstown passed away Monday, November 14, 2022 at his residence. He was born March 13, 1939 in Milton the son of Albert and Dorothy (Stevens) Moore.

Donald was a 1958 graduate of Knightstown High School and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Knightstown Christian Church, Knightstown American Legion and the Bowling Association. He coached Little League for many years. Donald enjoyed golf and loved fishing and camping. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Moore; two sons, Tony Moore and Jay Dee (Penny) Moore; and daughter, Debbie Thompson all of Knightstown; grandsons, Austin Moore and Tyler Thompson; sister, Carol Ann Poindexter; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Ilene Moore; brother, Richard Moore; and sister, Arlene Fletcher.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, November 18, 2022 at Glen Cove Cemetery, Section 22 with Rev. Charlie Riggs officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Knightstown American Legion. Condolences and memories of Donald may be shared at www.hinsey-brown.com .
