Elizabeth "Betty" Arnold

Elizabeth “Betty” Arnold, 75, of Greenfield, formerly of Knightstown passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born January 13, 1947 in Tompkinsville, KY, a daughter of the late Billie D. and Vassie Eleanor (Sprowls) Anderson.

A graduate of Arsenal Tech High School in Indianapolis, Betty owned and operated Hoosier Alarm Co. during the 1980’s and Hilltop Florist in Knightstown in the 1980’s and early 90’s. She was a former member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Knightstown. She enjoyed crafting.

Betty leaves to cherish her memory her son, Jeff (Kathy) Arnold of Knightstown; a brother, David (Tena) Anderson of Titusville, FL; a sister, Jessie Apollos of Indianapolis; step-great granddaughter, Justice Cart; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Loren Arnold in 2016; two sisters, Martha Bow and Joann Bailey; a step-grandson, Justin Cart.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Deacon Russ Woodard officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Indiana A.S.P.C.A. at www.aspca.org .
