Elizabeth Gail Coleman

Elizabeth Gail Coleman, 66, of New Castle passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at her residence. She was born on February 2, 1958 to the late Herbert and Mary (Dicken) Witham.

Gail graduated from Tri High High School in 1976. She played volleyball for Tri High for those 4 years of school. She always loved coffee and was rarely seen without a cup in her hand. Gail loved her family; she took great pride in her children and grandchildren. Family gatherings were always a time you would see her smile. She loved when her family all came together. Gail enjoyed her daytime soap operas. You would catch her during the day also watching the Gameshow Network. Gail enjoyed true crime documentaries when she was not doing crossword puzzles or word searches. She loved music, especially country music. Elizabeth was a fighter and maybe a little stubborn. That still never stopped her from doing anything she could to help someone. She always said her stubbornness was the Witham in her.

She is survived by her daughter Aubree Patton (Chad), son, Brandon Thompson, grandchildren, Shania Butler, Tyler Thompson (Allie), Izach Butler, Brenndon Thompson, Ethan Thompson, and Kinley Thompson, sister, Ruby Shook (Myron), Wanda Hinshaw, Opie Effinger, and Diann Hitchcock, brother Bill Witham (Wanda), Gary Witham (Vickie),

In addition to her parents, she is preceded by sisters, Shelia Oliver, Sue South, Helen Hensley, and brother, Bob Witham.

Services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, November 22, 2024, at Hinsey Brown Funeral Service 3406 S. Memorial Drive New Castle, In 47362. Burial will follow in Lewisville cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Thursday November 21st at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
