Elizabeth Reyman

Elizabeth Reyman, age 93, of New Castle, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at The Waters of New Castle. She was born January 23, 1916 in Henry County, Indiana to the late Chester and Jessie (Busby) DeWitt.

She retired from Sears and Roebuck in New Castle, working in the auditing department. She was also a beautician in New Castle for several years. She also enjoyed working in her yard. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters.

Survivors include two granddaughters: Suzanne (husband: Duane) Clark of Shirley, and Jeanne Marie Reyman of New Castle and their mother: Mary Ellen Reyman of New Castle; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: David Reyman; two brothers and a sister.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 16, 2009 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Reverend Jack Hannum officiating. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, February 15, 2009 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service. Private burial will be Tuesday at South Mound Cemetery.
