Elsie M. Miller, 81, of New Castle, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born February 27, 1930 in New Castle a daughter of Charles and Maggie (Marcum) Catron.
Elsie retired from Hooks Drug Store following 26 years of service. She was a member of the Eagles and was a NASCAR fan.
She is survived by a daughter: Pam Miller of New Castle; a sister: Donna (husband, Herman) Riggin of Florida; a sister-in-law: Louise (husband, Charles) Browning of Dandridge, TN; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Harold Miller; a sister: Allie Dee; brother-in-law: Pete Widner.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, October 14, 2011 at South Mound Cemetery West Lawn Addition with Reverend Gary Cunningham officiating. Friends may call from 4-8 PM Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Online condolences may be expressed at www.hinsey-brown.com .
