Eula M. Todd, 90, of New Castle, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2011 while a resident of The Waters of New Castle. She was born July 3, 1921, a daughter of the late Jeremiah and Bertha Jane (Meadors) Calhoun.
Eula had worked at Chrysler Corporation during World War II and later at Guide Lamp in Anderson. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in New Castle and enjoyed being a homemaker.
Survivors include her son, Steven (wife, Peggy) Todd of Noblesville; a granddaughter, Natalie (husband, Matthew) Lackner of Noblesville; a half sister, Jerrilyn Calhoun of New Castle, her step-mother, Ruth Calhoun of New Castle; two great grandchildren, Mallory and Aaron Lackner of Noblesville; two step granddaughters; three step great granddaughters; one step great grandson; two sisters in law, Betty Cashner of New Castle, and Viana Snider of Lafayette.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Todd in 1994; a half-brother, Harrold Calhoun and a sister-in-law, Mildred Davis.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with the Reverend Glen Rainey officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery. Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to the New Castle/Henry County First Aid Unit, 1515 “I” Ave., New Castle, IN 47362.
