Euldean Pierce

Euldean Pierce, 83, of Lewisville, passed away, Monday, December 19, 2016 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born July 12, 1933 in Bow, Kentucky to the late Buford and Pauline (Shelley) Bow.

She was a 65 year member of Southside Church of Christ. Euldean loved being with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, John Pierce whom she married on September 15, 1951 in Lewisville; their children, Elaine (Doug) Morgan of New Castle, Bob (Kathy) Pierce of Straughn, and Jeff (Michelle) Pierce of New Castle; grandchildren, Aaron Pierce, (Jessica) Brandon (Brooke) Pierce, Amanda (Brandon) Duncan, Joseph (Ashley) Cita, Marci Pierce, and Mallory Pierce; great grandchildren, Alexis Cita, Joseph Cita, Ruby Pierce, Addyson Bass and Leo Duncan due in March, Quinton; siblings, Louise Batson, Elsie Lawrence, Nora Yergin, Mildred Stewart, Ruth Miller, Linda Bennett, Helen Miller, and Lawrence Bow; several nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Rex Pierce and Marion Pierce; sister-in-law, Janice Blake; caretaker and special friend, Connie Freeman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Reba Stapp, Glowdean Johnson, Howard Bow and Ray Bow.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 23, 2016 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with her nephew, David Penticuff officiating. Burial will follow in Lewisville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Southside Church of Christ, 2805 S.
