Faith Elizabeth Denney, 46 of San Bernardino, CA, passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 at Saint Bernadine Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born October 3, 1963 in New Castle, IN, the daughter of Lois Faye Mitchell (wife of John R. Mitchell).
Faith was a member of the 1982 graduating class of New Castle Chrysler High School. She worked at The Paddock in Knightstown, IN before moving to Redlands, CA to work at The Paddock West. Faith then became a Realtor, her passion of the last five years.
Faith was a very giving soul and cared a great deal for her family, her friends, and for her animals. She was known as, and will always be remembered as, “Nana Faith†to all the children in her life.
She is survived by her mother Lois Faye Mitchell (husband, John) of New Castle, IN; her sister Kelly Foster (husband, Corey) of New Castle, IN; brother Chad Mitchell (wife, Amy) of Cape Coral, FL; her “special sisters†Rachel Denney, Rosemary Denney and Sonya Combs of New Castle, IN and San Bernardino, CA respectively; nephew Cody Mitchell Foster of New Castle, IN; niece Kaya Patricia Foster of New Castle, IN; niece Makayla Skye Mitchell of Cape Coral, FL; and “special nephew†Michael Combs of Albuquerque, NM, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Elvin Esco and Mary Goldie Denney.
A Memorial Service will be held January 2, 2010 at 4 pm, with visitation from 2 to 4 pm at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle, IN. Online condolences may be expressed at www.hinsey-brown.com .
