Frances Helen White went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 31st, 2025, surrounded in both person and in heart by family, at home.
Frances was born on May 5th, 1936 in Elizabethton, Tennessee to the late Fred Carr and Ida Woodby. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Fred Carr, Jr., William Carr, Robert Carr, Wayne Carr, Mary Louise Hosea, and Dorothy Cole and the father of her children, Joe White.
Frances brought light to every room she entered with her infectious smile and unwavering kindness. From her unique sense of humor, to her fierce determination of living life to its fullest, she had the ability to connect with everyone she interacted with, leaving a lasting impact on so many lives. Frances had a deep love for her family, her greatest accomplishment in life being her children.
When it came to her hobbies, she was a jack of all trades, master of none. She dabbled in music, woodworking, and crafting to list a few. When she wasn’t trying new things or enjoying time outside working in her flower gardens, she was spending time with what she cared about most, her family. One of her favorite memories were her trips to Washington DC and Gatlinburg with her children.
Frances was a charter member of Memorial Baptist Church and currently attending Open Arms Church. She retired from Eastern Indiana Federal Credit Union. Frances received her GED at the age of 59 years old, to which she was abundantly proud of.
She is survived by her children, Steve (Amy) White, Sheila (Rick) Holder, Rhonda (Steve) Dugger, Roger White, Sherri (Scott) Keen; Grandchildren, Jacob White, Marci Welti, Ricky Holder, Rachel Clark, Joshua Dugger, Seth Dugger, Caleb Dugger, Whitnie White, Amber Planck; Great Grandchildren, Kinley and Caliana White, Madison, Jack, Dharma, and Grace Holder, Reagan and Ryan Reese, Kendall Clark, Braxton Dugger, Jensen and Berkley Dugger, Sadie and Brynlee Planck, Calvin, Cooper and Molly Welti; Great Great Grandchildren, Chance Hargrave, Mariah and Amari Holder; a brother in law, Dale Cole and several nieces and nephews.
