Fred N. Clark, 95, of New Castle, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015 at The Waters of New Castle. He was born in Cartwright, Kentucky to the late John O. and Mable (Taylor) Clark.
He was a veteran of the United States Marines, serving during WWII. A self employed contractor, he built several homes in the New Castle area. He also did plastering, excavating and carpentry work. Fred was a member of the Moose and Eagles Lodges and the American Legion, all in New Castle.
Survivors include his daughter, Linda (Michael) Aura of Bradenton, FL; sister, Reba Thurston of West Chester, OH; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva (Fine) Clark; infant brother, Elmo Clark; infant sister, Edith Waneta Clark; two brothers, Hurlan Clark and Windle Clark; daughter, Anita Razor.
Military services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Burial will be at a later date in South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Henry County Humane Society, 11 Midway Drive, New Castle, IN 47362.
