Freda Bowling, 83, of Springport passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at Henry County Community Health. She was born on April 15, 1940 in Springport a daughter of the late, Ivan and Hazel Jane (Reeder) Collins.
The definition of a homemaker, taking care of her family was Freda’s main priority in life from her husband down to her great grandchildren. She enjoyed running the Courier Times paper route with her husband Euell. Freda was a graduate of Springport High School.
Freda is survived by her children, Randy (Candace) Bowling of Losantville, Brian (companion: Jenny) Bowling of Bluffton, Jane Baugh of Springport; 12 grandchildren and 19great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Freda was preceded in death by her husband, Euell Bowling; daughter, Brenda Stephens; brothers, Marvin and Norman Collins; great grandson, Benson Bowling.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30pm Friday, July 7, 2023 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Springport, IN. You may express condolences or share memories of Freda at www.hinsey-brown.com .
