Garry L. Stone

Garry L. Stone, Sr., 69, of New Castle passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center in New Castle. He was born July 26, 1946 in Winchester, Kentucky the son of the late John T. and Aileen (Collins) Stone.

A production supervisor, Garry retired from CMW Corporation in Indianapolis in 2004 after 15 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of the Eagles & Moose Lodges. Garry was an avid Colts fan and also enjoyed bowling and golfing.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Dianne (Haynes) Stone of New Castle; a daughter, Angela (Scott) Kelley of Houston, Texas; a son, Garry Lee Stone, Jr. of Muncie; five grandchildren, Jason and Shane of Houston, Texas, Tyler, Brandon and Garry, III all of Muncie; three step children, Mike (Staci) Kelsay of Muncie, Tyler Kelsay of New Castle and Christiana Kelsay of Colorado Springs, CO; a step granddaughter, Jada; a great grandson: Keagan; aunt & uncle, Lorena and Clayton Collins of New Castle and a special friend, Mike (Jeri) Denny.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Reverend Mark Herbkersman officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memory Gardens.
