Gary Lee Adams

Gary Lee Adams, 57, of Sheridan, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at his residence. He was born February 4, 1958 in Greenfield the son of Junior A. and Evelyn Louise (Freund) Adams.

In 1978 Gary became employed by INDOT and enjoyed his job very much for over 30 years. Gary’s life was being a great father and grandfather and he had a good sense of humor. He enjoyed cookouts, camping, racing, the Minnesota Vikings and Cincinnati Reds.

He is survived by daughters, Nichole (Collin) Hayden of Sheridan and Krystal Adams (fiance, Melanie Vernon) of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Autumn Hayden and Avery Hayden; a brother, Allen (Vittoria) Adams of Indianapolis; a sister, Lynne Adams of Shirley; an aunt, Norma Smith of Knightstown; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandsons, Arthur James and Wyatt Lee Hayden; a brother, John Adams and a sister, Cathy Crabtree.

Graveside services will be at 12:30 PM Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Glen Cove Cemtery. Friends may call from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM prior to the service at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel.
