Gay Lynn Mullins

Gay Lynn Mullins, 61, of New Castle passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 24th, 2024. She was born September 29th, 1962 to the late James Thomas Sr. and Patricia Ann Dick.

Gay was very active with her family. She would make a vacation out of going to cheer competitions. She was very supportive of her kids and grandkids in everything they did. Gay enjoyed watching the grandchildren play soccer, she was active in girls scouts with her daughters. She was troop leader for them growing up. She was a mother to many including the band, dance, color guard, and FFA. She had 2 yappy Chihuahuas that she loved dearly.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Donald Mullins, daughter Midnight Monday (Jason) of Franklin, Daughter Tabitha Sparks (Charles) of Shirley; grandchildren Lilyona Carnes, Alysann Carnes, Ryker Carnes, Nathaniel Sparks, and Nicholas Sparks.

Gay is preceded in death by her parents, grandmother Edna Chadwick, grandfather Irving Hanson, and several aunts and uncles. 

Services for Gay will be held at 6:30 pm on Friday, August 30, 2024 at the Hinsey Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Visitation will take place from 4:30 p.m. until the start of the service on Friday. Memorial contributions may be given to Riley Children's Foundation, 500 N. Meridian Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46204. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle.
