Genevieve “Genny” (Coffey) Bilbrey, 78, formerly of New Castle passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born September 9, 1939 in Litchfield, IL to the late Olen V. and Patra (Walkup) Coffey.
A 1957 graduate of New Castle High School, she retired from the IN Dept. of Natural Resources in 2003 after 30 years of service. Genny loved bowling and was involved in several bowling leagues. She loved traveling, cruising with her family and any yard sale.
Survivors include three children: Cedar Shoultz of Indianapolis, Mike (Deborah) Bilbrey of Seneca, MO and Geneva Mason of Jacksonville, FL; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Tracy F. Bilbrey; a brother: Kenny Coffey; son-in-law: Dave Mason; great-granddaughter: Brenna Shoultz.
Services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Danny Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery, West Lawn Addition. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
