Gerald "Jerry" Coleman

Gerald F. “Jerry” Coleman, age 71, of New Castle passed away Saturday, February 19, 2011 at his residence. He was born May 15, 1939 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
He was a 1959 graduate of Technical Arsenal High School in Indianapolis. He retired form G.M. Truck and Bus in Indianapolis.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Coleman, whom he married May 6, 1978; four children, Keith (wife, Mary) Coleman and Shirl Coleman, both of Indianapolis, Jason Coleman and Mark (wife, Libby) Coleman, both of Mooresville; five grandchildren, Jeremy, Mandy, Brittany, Cody and Hunter; four great-grandchildren, Zoie, Gavin, Devin, and Landon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carrie and Martha Zody.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 6415 N. Henderson Ford Road, Mooresville, Indiana. Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be given to the Henry County Heart Association or the American Lung Society.
