Gregg Scott Shepherd

Gregg Scott Shepherd, 60, of Greenfield passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at his residence. He was born November 9, 1961 in New Castle the son of Verlon and Shirley (Black) Shepherd.
Gregg was a retired pharmacist. He had attended Kennard Christian Church and Cadiz Christian Church. He was a huge fan of KISS, Andy Griffith and George Jones. Gregg enjoyed playing banjo, barbecuing, bowling, singing and watching western movies, but especially loved spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kim Shepherd, whom he married October 27, 1984; two sons, Mitchell (Noelle) Shepherd of Anderson and Zachary (Abbey) Shepherd of Shelbyville; a soon to arrive granddaughter, Frehley Nichoel; mother, Shirley (Black) Shepherd of Greenfield; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Verlon Shepherd; a brother, Kris Shepherd; maternal grandparents, Herbert and Kathleen Black; paternal grandparents, Tressie and Emma Shepherd.
Services will be at 3:00 PM Friday, September 2, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Steve Arnett officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until time of service.
