Gregory Lee Conley

Gregory Lee Conley, age 55, of New Castle, passed away Monday, August 3, 2015 at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born January 6, 1960 in Greenfield, Indiana to Junior Nelson and Virginia (VanDuyn) Conley.

He owned and operated G & K Professional Detail Service; he served in the United States Army and retired as a volunteer Firefighter in Franklin Township. Gregory loved joking around and spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid Colts fan, and enjoyed NASCAR, especially Tony Stewart. He also enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Survivors include his wife, Kristi Conley of New Castle; mother, Virginia Conley of New Castle; son, Brandon Tait (Courtney Gilliam) of New Castle, daughter, Sabrina Conley (Robert Holmes) of New Castle; grandchildren, Jadelynn, Aria, Madisyn, Aries, Revan; siblings, June Howard, Lynne (Larry) Jannotti, Margaret “Peggy” Nash, Roger (Teresa) Conley, Richard Conley, Loretta (Arville) Franscisco, and Jeannette "Jett" Pitts; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Junior Nelson Conley; paternal grandparents, Delbert and Leola Conley; maternal grandparents, Ben and Edna VanDuyn; brother-in-law, Michael Nash.

Services will be at 4:00 p.m. Monday, August 10, 2015 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Reverend Charles Dugger officiating. Friends may call from 2:30-4:00 p.m. Monday before the service at the funeral home.
