Hazel M. North, 73, of Carthage, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at her residence. She was born March 29, 1941 in Clinton, IN a daughter of Jesse and Rose Marie (Kelley) Crowder.
She loved going to yard sales and spending time at casinos. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by eight children: Francis Eugene (Cynthia) Watson, Robert Eugene Watson, Teresa Lynn (James) Halt, Kenny Ray McDaniel (Marsha Schilling), Bradley Joseph (Catherine) Crowder, Keith Edward (Lisa) McDaniel, Marilyn (James) O’Gara, Kelli Kathleen (Paul) Cooper; 16 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; two brothers: Donald Wayne (Linda) Crowder, Sr., James Robert (Hattie) Crowder; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Ralph North, Sr.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Richard Thayer officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to service. You may express a condolence or share a memory of Hazel at www.hinsey-brown.com .
