Helen Wilkinson

Helen Wilkinson, age 100, formerly of Knightstown, died Wednesday, August 18, 2010 in Regency Place in Greenfield. Helen had been resident there since 1995. She was born October 27, 1909 in Raysville, a daughter of the late Aubrey and Estelle Wilkinson.



Helen graduated from Knightstown High School. Because of her disability of being a cripple her entire life, she never worked outside her home. Helen was a sweet, kind, and quiet person, but delightful to know.



Helen’s sister was Martha Wilkinson. Martha was manager of Knightstown Gas Company for many years. Helen and Martha made their home together until Martha’s passing. When Helen found herself alone, she sold her two story brick home in Raysville, and moved into Regency Place in Greenfield.



Helen will be buried beside Martha in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 23, 2010. Anyone who knew Helen or Martha is welcome to attend. Rev. Dale Riggs will officiate.
