Henry C. Conyers, Jr., 58, of Muncie passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Ball Hospital in Muncie following a brief illness. He was born December 9, 1951 in New Castle, Indiana, a son of the late Henry Clay and Mildred E. (Jackson) Conyers, Sr.
He enjoyed being with family, computers and cooking. Henry was formerly employed by Marsh Foodliner, Chrysler Corporation in New Castle and recently at Second Harvest Food Bank. He loved his dogs Sue and Scooter.
Survivors include two brothers: Paul (wife: Joyce) Conyers and Roger (wife: Joyce) Conyers, all of New Castle; two nephews: Brian (wife: Shelley) Conyers and Brandon (wife: Christina) Conyers, all of New Castle; one great niece: Nicole Lynn Conyers of New Castle; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Mt. Summit Cemetery with the Reverend Charles Dugger officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to Henry C. Conyers, Jr. Memorial Fund, c/o Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, 3406 South Memorial Drive, New Castle, IN 47362, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
