India Carol Larkin

India Carol Larkin, age 70, of Muncie, went to be with her heavenly Father, Sunday, May 19, 2013 at St. John’s Hospital in Anderson. She was born July 7, 1942 in New Castle, Indiana to the late Eugene and Emma Ruth (Todd) Davis.

A 1960 graduate of Walter P. Chrysler New Castle High School, she attended Ball State University. She worked for many years at Jacks Donuts in New Castle, where she was a cake decorator. She attended South Side Church of the Nazarene in Muncie. She was a home decorator and enjoyed drawing and cooking.

Survivors include a daughter, Melinda (Tom) Ray of Daleville; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Lafabrague of Ft. Worth, TX; four sons, Russell Thomas Rogers, Jr. of Muncie, Timothy Olin Rogers of Muncie, Michael Todd Larkin of Denver, CO and Scott (Kathy) Bertram of New Castle; seven grandchildren, Dustin Rogers, Kory Rogers, Jessica (T.J.) Walker, Chad (Chelsy) Ray, Zach Rogers, Jalynn Rogers, and McKenzie Rogers; great grandchildren, Wyatt and Nolan Walker, Ckinley and Cayson Ray; two sisters, Janice (Wayman) Allen of New Castle and Bonnie Davis of Kokomo; a brother, Rudolph Todd of VA; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Larkin in 2006.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2013 at South Side Church of the Nazarene in Muncie with Pastor Ron Gilbert and Neal Peterson officiating. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the American Cancer Society, 4567 Progress Drive,
