Iona Mae Reavis

Iona Mae Reavis passed away peacefully at age 86 on October 14, 2012 at Sunrise Senior Living, Chandler, Arizona.

Iona (Mae) is survived by her son David; daughters Ann Peterson and Georgia Turner; seven grandchildren and five great granddaughters.

Mae and her brother Howard were born and raised on a farm near Elwood, Indiana. She graduated from Ball State College and taught English and was a speech therapist for twenty-five years. Mae and her husband George (preceded in death in 2000) moved to Iowa in 1964. She moved to Chandler, Arizona in 2001 to live near her daughter and family. Mae was a member of Arizona Community Church and will be greatly missed by all those who have been blessed by knowing her.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, October 24th at South Mound Cemetery, New Castle, Indiana. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E.
