Irene Paul

C. Irene Paul, 78, of New Castle, went to be with Lord Monday, December 07, 2009 at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center in New Castle. She was born June 14, 1931 in Science Hill, KY the daughter of Anna (Westley) Langdon.

Catherine was a homemaker and lives in New Castle all of her adult life. She was a member of the Spiceland Pike Church of God for over 60 years. She enjoyed playing piano and going to the YMCA to walk.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years: Leslie B. Paul of New Castle; a son: Kenneth (wife: Charlotte) Paul of Ringgold, GA; two daughters: Karen (husband: Jody) Reasoner and Janice Paul both of New Castle; a brother: Billy (wife: Pat) Langdon of New Castle; four sisters: Betty Neal of Muncie; Barbara (husband: Kenneth) McCarty of New Castle; Carolyn Marcum of New Castle; grandchildren: Chris (wife: Beth) Paul of GA; Kristi Cooper of Indianapolis; Melissa (husband: Ronnie) Heaton of North Vernon; Scott (wife: Kim) Reasoner of New Castle; Heather LaBella of CA; great grandchildren: Hannah, Brian and Cloe Paul of GA; Faith Heaton of North Vernon; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by Anna and William Langdon, mother and stepfather.

Service will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 10, 2009 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Danny Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery.
