Jackie Lynn Marion

Jackie Lynn Marion, 67, of New Castle, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Henry Community Health. She was born on October 23, 1956, in Fort Wayne, IN, a daughter of the late Willard J. and Jessie (Griggs) Adkins.

 Jackie was a 1975 graduate of Shenandoah High School. On June 7, 1976, she married the love of her life, Dale Marion. Together, they had a daughter, Amber Marion, born in 1977. Jackie was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker and assisted Dale with various projects associated with his business, Marion Associates. She had a deep love for animals, the beach, Cubs baseball, and cherished spending time with her family.

 Jackie is survived by her husband of 48 years, Dale Marion of New Castle; daughter, Amber Marion (companion: Cory Owens) of New Castle; sisters, Ruby Miller of New Castle and Barbara Jo (Mark) Berry of Arkansas; Marleana Adkins of New Castle and several nieces and nephews.

 Jackie was preceded in death by her parents.

 Services will be held at 12:00pm Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Rev. Charles Dugger officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10:00am until time of service.
